Budding Australian film-makers, are you feeling lucky?

Submissions for the third Lucky Film Festival are open until this Friday 13 September, so if you are looking for a chance to have your filmmaking skills noticed it’s your lucky day. The Festival is open to all filmmakers, no matter their age or background. The only requirements for entry are that the films are under 10 minutes and are produced and created in Australia.

Festival Co-Director Kai Raisbeck has highlighted the importance of the Festival’s inclusive approach – ‚ÄúWe are enormously proud to have created a Festival which is truly a unique celebration of Australian filmmaking. The Festival is open to everyone plus all genres of film-making including documentary, narrative, music video, animation and experimental film. We don’t even mind if the film has already been screened in Australia. For us it’s all about creating a thriving filmmaking culture in Australia‚Äù said Raisbeck.

The final 10 shortlisted films will be screened at The Arts Platform, Leichhardt on October 12 from 7pm before the winners are announced. Prizes include a one on one dinner with a Producer and $1,500 worth of in-kind support from The Arts Platform towards your next film venture.
