Three young boys who live on the mean streets of Ukraine embark on an adventure to cross the border into Poland. They drift through towns and markets, spend nights at train stations, while begging and stealing for food. But this potentially sad tale is directed with a rambunctious sense of adventure and joie de vivre by revered filmmaker Dorota Kƒôdzierzawska.
