WM Premiere brings you a month of terminators and terrorists, lone heroes and lethal weapons, as we deliver the world’s best action-thriller epics in February – all for the first time on Australian Television.

Diane Kruger stars as a French journalist in Afghanistan who’s kidnapped by the Taliban in Special Forces. Special agent Hamilton goes undercover and joins a Russian mafia organisation that smuggles Swedish weapons to terrorists in Hamilton: In The Interest of the Nation. Hamilton is then forced to play by his own rules when his goddaughter is kidnapped by terrorists in the sequel, Hamilton: Not if it Concerns Your Daughter, and four undercover police of the elite Unit 7 find themselves charged with an enormous task: to cleanse the barrio streets of drug trafficking and prostitution in Unit 7.

Thursday 6th February 8.30pm – Hamilton: In The Interest Of The Nation
Masked soldiers attack a vehicle loaded with high-tech missiles in an attempted smuggling operation in Uzbekistan. Meanwhile, a Swedish engineer is kidnapped in Ethiopia. Hamilton is ordered to investigate the kidnapping and soon discovers an international arms conspiracy at top government levels, as well as plans for a terrorist attack on Swedish soil. His loyalties are tested, but the interest of the nation must come first.

Thursday 13 February 8.30pm – Hamilton: Not If It Concerns Your Family
Once devastated by the loss of his own family through an act of revenge, the abduction of Hamilton’s 7-year old goddaughter Nathalie rouses intensely painful memories. Kidnapped after her mother, head of Swedish Security Police, made ill-advised comments to the media about Muslim separatist groups, her kidnappers demand a high price in the form of cash and political concessions. When the Swedish authorities remain passive, Hamilton is forced to take action.

Thursday 20 February 8.30pm – Special Forces
When war correspondent Elsa Casanova (Diane Kruger) is taken hostage in Afghanistan by the Taliban and is faced with her imminent execution, a Special Forces unit is dispatched to free her. A relentless pursuit begins between her kidnappers who have no intention of letting their prey escape them, and a group of soldiers who risk their lives in pursuit of their single aim – to bring her home alive.

Thursday 27 February 8.30pm – Unit 7
Unit 7 has a tough assignment: to clean the most dangerous drug trafficking networks out of the city and bring an end to the corrosive power that has taken hold of the streets. A detail of four, the unit is led by √Ångel (Mario Casas), a young officer aspiring to detective, and Rafael (Antonio de la Torre), a violent, arrogant yet efficient cop. But unit 7’s modus operandi is slipping outside the bounds of the law through their use of violence, coercion, lies and half-truths. For them, anything goes. As they gain ground in their mission, the two officers head in opposite directions. Angel takes the path of ambition and police excesses, while Rafael begins to change as a result of his feelings for the beautiful, enigmatic Lucia.
