The Murder Farm (Germany, 2009)

In this German crime thriller, a young woman (Julia Jentsch) returns to her home village when her estranged mother passes away. While there she learns of a gruesome murder that left an entire family dead two years earlier, and remains unsolved.

The memories and emotions remain vivid for the close-knit community, including Monica Bleibtreu and soon Kathrin is drawn into the mystery. However the more she uncovers, the more confused she becomes, as nearly everyone in the village had a motive to kill the family.
